Another hoodie I decided to make for a gift.  I lined the inside with the same material on the outside and put a net like material over the top to give it a decaying feel. I really love this piece and wish to keep it instead of giving it away. But tis the season.

Of course my theme for anything is black and white. These two are the newest of my collection of random makings. Once the weather cools down, I'll be busting out the hoodie. :33
It's a black and white hoodie with an asymmetrical hem. Looking at the hem now, makes me want to make the next one more dramatic~

Home Body

Instead of going out, I decided I was going to finally sew something. My favorite combination of color/patterns. A solid black with striped knit fabric makes up this whole garment. I'm considering making it shorter, but the decision is still up in the air. (^^;)

Black and Pink

I decided to make another one of these crochet scarf like things~ Its pretty light and super comfy. I cant wait until its winter and I can wear these~~ This time I didnt add any chains or anything of that sort. It still looks good without all the accessories (^^;). Your thoughts?

Crochet This

I wanted to pick up crocheting again. It's been over a year since the last time I crochet. Luckily I didn't forget how to do it, but I'm so slow at it (;_;). Anyways I decided to make crochet scarfs!!! This is just a prototype~ I wanted to see how it would look. (^^;)

Oh my Crowns

I spent the last 5 days cutting these out.,,.between sleeping, working, eating, and being lazy. A total of 240!! They're not close to being finished, BUT!! When they are.,.,they're going to look amazing (^o^)/
I just have to see which colors are more popular (*_*). So far its black, white, red, and pink. Sorry blue looks like you're not that popular~~

Ripping Out Studs and Saving Money

Hey guys! To make every punk outfit complete.,.,you got to add studs to them! BUT! When I look up prices for studs I always get discourage because of the prices and the amount you get. (ToT) 
Well now here's an option you can do to get those studs and make your outfits punk!
I do this simple trick that gets me studs and keeps money in my wallet.
So here's what you can do! Go to to a thrift store/goodwill and buy some awesome belts with studs on them. Make sure you check on the back where you can see the prongs. That way you know its easier to take them out~

 

Now the tools you will need are - a pair of pliers and a flat tip screw driver

Now you would use the flat tip to pop out one side of the studs and you would repeat that to all the studs on the belt. I know,.,.it takes time, but its worth it in the end (*^^*)

When you're done with that. Take your pliers and carefully, without scratching the stud or crushing it, take the studs out of the belt. If you need to,.,.just wiggle the stud back and forth until it pops out! If you want to make sure you dont scratch the stud, tape up the pliers (^o^)

Now do that to all your belts and you will end up with a tub full of studs!!!!

You can use any kinds of studs that you find on belts! Domes, pyramids,.,even stars if you get lucky!!! Happy recycling and stud finding (*^^*)/

Draping Skirt

On my day off and with a little money to spend after helping someone out with a sewing project, I was able to buy fabric for Uruha's outfit that I want to make~~ Slowly but surely I will make this outfit!!! At the moment I'm draping the skirt. So much fabric and gathering its crazy!!! (*_*)
It's going to take me some time to clean up the material and then sew it together, but it will be worth it. I guess I appreciate my days off more (^^;).

Black Dye and Fur

Since I didn't close last night at work.,,.,.I had time to work on some stuff. So I continued to dye this light brown fur to black. It's still drying but it looks good~

Paint on this and Title it

I made some sketches for someone. I hope they like some of them (*_*). Its been awhile since I did any watercolor/sketches.,,.,.usually I just work from my mind XD. Sometimes it's sketches, but mostly my mind and how everything is coming together.

I'm hoping to make this outfit for the rest of the year. I know it wont take THAT long, but I want to slowly make it on the side and work on other stuff as well~  Right now I'm in the process of dying fake brown fur to black~

Crosses and Ruffles

New skirt!! with lots of gathering and an elastic waistband~ It has three separate layers with ruffles on the bottom. Both layers are made out of cotton,..,so its really soft~ and the detail of the top and bottom layer has crosses on them (*w*)!!!  It's kinda lolita-ish? But I know there are unspoken rules of how lolita skirts are really made lol~
It took a long time for me to finish this, since its been a long while since the last time i sewed something up. (T-T) Hopefully I wont stop now and continue to make new stuff!

New Studio Area

At last! I finished organizing my new studio area~ I'm very pleased with the outcome of it (*^^*). Now everything is in ONE room and I have a lot of space to work on new projects!!!

I'm very excited to utilize this room (*w*)/. Now I can start creating things once again!!~~

Shopping Trip

Today is my first day off after working six straight days. At last I was able to go out and buy some supplies that I wanted to get after a long while.  At the store I bought more needles for different fabric types and such and since I was at the fabric store I browsed the isles. With no intentions to buy any fabric because I want to use the fabric I already have, I saw these vintage looking fabric (*w*). So beautiful!
Of course I can't leave the store without it~ When I first saw it I knew exactly what I want to make with it. Really excited! Can't wait to finish arranging my studio and start making patterns and start sewing up some new garments (~w~)v!!!

It's the Fabric

The fabric actually makes this simple design look a lot cooler (*w*)/. Since it's summer time.,,.it's time for some summer clothes!

New items will be made this week! Look out for them (*^^*).
Can I say that I'm really inspired by my bunny Groucho?? She's cute, but also mean XD so she gives me ideas for new clothes!!

What? White?

First shirt I made with my little bunny on it. It's a light weight knit fabric with stripes of fabric on the back for detail and black and gray paint splatter on the shirt. this shirt is so soft and light weight. Perfect for the summer months :D. Can't wait to wear it!!

Fashion Show

 

Fashion show was a success!!! I didn't expect myself to love it so much, but I think the fact that the crowd of people went crazy over my designs that won me over :3. It's more exciting to know I did do something well and I can't wait to do something like this again. The feeling of success is a great feeling to have.  But when the show ended and I hugged my fellow designers/friends and my lovely models.,.,I felt kinda sad that this is probably the only time that we are going to do something like this together.

The one thing that stuck with me the most out of everything that has happened tonight was when I was leaving the after party and these two girls told me that they loved my designs and that my garments are a work of art AND I have inspired them to go into fashion. 

That right there,.,.is THE best feeling for the night.

Crop Top

I decided to make a new shirt for myself for the fashion show. Crop tops are in~~~
Instead of making them with a scoop neck and short sleeves, I did made it with sheer sleeves and a turtle neck.
Its very light weight and comfy.

Covering it up

I decided to make masks for my models for the fashion show. Why? Since I'm sharing models and the makeup is not as dark and dead as I want it to, why not use a mask to give off that dead dark idea but still keep the original makeup idea for the other designers~~~
I used an old skirt I've had to create this mask~~ I think it fits perfectly for my garments. I'm super excited now!!

Ram Horns and Dresses

I had to do a quick illustration. I've been into ram horns lately since Seattle.  They just make everything more bad ass.  Hopefully soon I can start sewing up garments again without the stress of classes!! Only 4 more classes and I will be officially done with school,.,.,.forever!!! :DD

One More Week

Ah sorry for the delay (ToT). This past week I was in Seattle WA attending Sakura Con! I was able to vend and help  Japanfiles/JHouseRock/h.Naoto/Sixh. It was the most fun I've had in awhile~
h.Naoto, Ibi, and Mint will be in Chicago in mid May. I want to start learning Japanese to talk to my favorite designer that got me into fashion, Naoto. :DD

But Yes! Only one more week left of classes,,.forever!!! Unless I decide to go to Grad School~
With only a week left, I will have time to start making new clothes. I realized if I really want to start selling some designs, they will HAVE to be ready to wear.  Couture is beautiful, but to spread my designs, they have to be wearable on a every day basis. Hopefully during this week I can make a couple shirts!! I already have some in mind~~

Photo Shoot!

I had a photo shoot today! I'm so happy with the results and I am SUPER happy with all my models that came together and helped me put this on. I tried really hard to get my models in and out so they can go on with their schedules, so again I'm happy with my models patience to work with me and the photographer. 
These are a few pictures that I liked from the shoot.  I only skimmed through the whole lot of pictures that were taken.  Again so happy.,.,,.I don't know what else to say.

CD101

I participated in a promotional event for the fashion show today. It was at a beautiful restaurant in German Village.  I brought my models to the event and they casually wore my outfits at this event for the guests to look at and even feel the fabrics.  It was very awkward, no lie,.,.,.but overall it was chill.  

Frilly Frills

In addition to the last top I made. I made some frilly shorts to go with them~~~
I've been wanting to make something a little more feminine and here they are!
Hoping to have a photo shoot this weekend, but I will have to wait on my photographer to answer~~

Skully White

I quickly made this simple shirt to go along with this mini collection I'm sewing up.  It's a really soft stretchy shirt with a little collar and of course sleeveless.  I used a screen I made last year to apply the skull on the side of the shirt as well. The overall outfit for this one isn't complete, but hopefully soon it will be!!! The shirt is such a simple.,,.all over the place design,.,.but overall I think the studs pulls it all together :3.

Quick Fitting

I had one of my friends try on the garments I've been working on. I'm so happy that it fits her perfectly, due to the fact that the first garment you see was made from assuming her size (from what I know from pattern making and peoples body type) while the second garment was made for a mannequin to be displayed on for the fashion show.  The first picture is a garment I'm making on a side project, while the second picture is of my third garment for collection. I still need to make pants to go with both garments. Hopefully this week/weekend I will be VERY productive to where I can finish basically everything for this photo shoot I'm putting together.

Black White Studs

I quickly made this really comfortable outfit for a photo shoot.  It's for one of my friends/models. Its super soft stretchy knit with suede stripes and studs on it. I also made a separate hood/scarf to go along with it. Its more like shirt dress. I even made it to be those one size fits all! its really comfy and something I would wear.
Ah I can't wait to put this collection further~~

Excuses Excuses

Sorry for the delay of any updates on garments. I've been working really hard trying to finish my collection before I start on anything else. Hopefully soon I can make more fun garments for you to look at!!
Only so many more weeks before I finish school! I can't believe it.  So much to do, so little time. I wish my body didn't need sleep to function properly,.,.then I would be awake 24/7 working on garments and other projects. (^~^;).
With that, I shall continue with my garments that I'm currently working on. I hope to finish a jacket and a simple pair of shorts tonight~! Or even pants if I feel up to the task ~~

Janky Much

This garment I made way before I was taught pattern making. We all have to start somewhere right!?  This is based off the band alicenine. garment in one of their PV. I guess I really enjoy making cosplays.  It's really fun how asymmetrical it is with the mixed patterns used.

You are Six

I made this awhile back, but I wanted to share anyways. This was inspired by Japanese rock band, alicenine.  This design is based off their Number Six PV. The drummer is my favorite person in the band so I made his outfit! Its really comfy and looks nice with knee combat boots.  Fun garment to make.

Navy Blue

A jacket I made in my summer class Tailoring. We learned how to properly construct a jacket with faux pockets.  Its a really nice jacket with a simple collar. I think the collar is too small for my liking, but that's a personal preference.

So Angry, but so Cute

This is a kigurumi I made for myself. Based off of the characters Hangry and Angry.  It's super comfy and really warm. I love the cat eats on this.

Hello my Kitty

I made a version of a kigurumi for someone.  They wanted Hello Kitty, so this is my interpretation of it.  It has a heart shaped pocket in the front with lace around it to put stuff in.  It's super comfy to wear, specially in the cold weather.

Puffy Red

I forgot to add this, but I made this for my mother for her christmas present. It has a soft lining that is really silky and warm while the outside is a puffy quilted fabric. It's sport and fun like my mother and she was very happy to receive it as a gift.
